The Tulian Lake Trek is one of Kashmir’s most beautiful and popular treks, located near Pahalgam. This 3-day adventure offers trekkers a chance to witness the untouched beauty of Kashmir, including lush meadows, alpine lakes, and panoramic views of snow-covered peaks. The trek is suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers, as it combines an adventurous climb with the mesmerizing landscapes of the Himalayas. The highlight of this trek is Tulian Lake, a high-altitude glacial lake surrounded by towering peaks.

- Best Time to Trek:
The ideal months for the Tulian Lake Trek are June to September. During this time, the weather is pleasant with clear skies, and the trail is accessible. You will experience green meadows, wildflowers, and a clear view of the turquoise lake. - Monsoon & Winter:
- Winter (November to March): The trek is not recommended during this time due to heavy snow and freezing conditions.
- Monsoon (July-August): This is the rainy season in Kashmir, making the trails slippery and potentially unsafe for trekking.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Srinagar – Aru Valley – Lidderwat
- Drive from Srinagar to Aru Valley (12 km).
- Begin the trek to Lidderwat, a stunning campsite near river streams and forested terrain (5-6 hours).
- Overnight stay at Lidderwat in tents.
Day 2: Lidderwat – Tulian Lake – Lidderwat
- Early morning trek to Tulian Lake (7-8 hours round trip).
- Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the lake and the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
- Return trek to Lidderwat.
- Overnight stay at Lidderwat.
Day 3: Lidderwat – Aru Valley – Srinagar
- Morning descent back to Aru Valley (4-5 hours).
- Drive back to Srinagar to conclude the trek.
